Britta Brown is a former sports executive with 12 years of experience working inside the NBA and Division I college athletics. She most recently served as Senior Director of Basketball Administration for the Detroit Pistons, overseeing basketball operations logistics, budgeting, scheduling, department communication, major events, and cross-functional alignment. Prior to the Pistons, she worked in college athletics development at UNC, Maryland, and Eastern Michigan including Assistant Athletic Director of Development.
She grew up in Baltimore excelling as a 3-sport varsity athlete in lacrosse, field hockey and basketball before becoming a lacrosse student-athlete at the University of North Carolina.

Britta has learned that most spots organizations don’t have a talent problem. They have an operational and alignment opportunity. She’s spent her career inside environments where execution at the highest level isn’t optional and she brings that standard to every organization and audience she works with.
Britta partners with sports organizations and athletic departments as a fractional operations leader, helping them run better day-to-day, navigate transitions, and execute high-stakes initiatives. She’s also a speaker for women, student-athletes, and sports industry audiences.
BEYOND THE WORK
Outside of her professional life, Britta serves as a Board of Trustee member for Michigan Women Forward. She enjoys traveling, RVing, fishing, spending time with her husband and family, and hosting women’s gatherings.
